Horses and Courage

Collaboration with The Duck Inn - Hefeweizen with Lemon Verbena / ABV - 5.2% / IBU - 13 / SRM - 5

We teamed up with Michelin rated Chef Kevin Hickey and John Williamson of Bridgeport's coolest gastro-tavern, The Duck Inn, and brewed a German Hefeweizen with lemon verbena. Author William Faulkner said the uplifting and clarifying herb was “the only scent you could smell above the smell of horses and courage and so it was the only one that was worth wearing.” This beer is crisp, smooth, and soft with hints of lemon and herbal, minty pines from the added lemon verbena.
